How to Get Rid of Body Fat – The Fun Way

January 21st, 2010

I know what you’re thinking, how can getting rid of fat be fun. Well, I’m getting ready to give you some great ideas on how to get rid of body fat the fun way. The first thing you need to do is think about what type of activities you like to do. Then make a list of them. Note I said ‘activity’ implying that you will be ACTIVE not sitting idly doing nothing. The activities don’t need to be strenuous, but you do need your body to be moving. Inactivity is one of the quickest ways pounds can sneak up on you.

Now that you have your list either written or in memory, I want you to add to it. There are many ways to lose fat and have fun doing it. One of the most exciting ways I’ve come across is Dance Dance Revolution, this is a video game you do dance steps to. And if you have kids or teens that also need to lose weight you can make this a family activity. If you’ve never heard of it then google it and find out for yourself what it’s all about.

Another way to have fun while being active is listening to your favorite comedians via a head set. If you don’t have a favorite comedian use music that is uplifting. This is great for when you’re either walking outdoors or on a treadmill at home or in the gym. By the way walking does get rid of body fat especially if you do it on a consistent basis. Additionally, if you have a partner whether it’s a friend or family member you will enjoy the activity more than if you do it alone.

Losing fat doesn’t have to be hard it can be fun and that’s how you want to think of it; as a fun activity, not something you dread doing. You also want to add to your list all the activities you do with the kids (if you have kids). For example, piggy back rides, flag football, volleyball, swimming, playing at the playground, even hide n seek counts; you’re walking and sometimes running to find someone or hide. What about twister? There’s plenty of activity during that game. » Read more: How to Get Rid of Body Fat – The Fun Way
